The Calorie Myth

Tie: I just busted open the whole myth on calories. It turns out there is not a Bunsen burner in your stomach. I'm a human, not a laboratory. Guy: Well 'calorie' is just a term to describe how much energy it takes to heat water. So it can be shared between humans and food. It is disheartening there is confusion on this. Tie: It is worse than that, there aren't actually any horses stuffed in the hood of your car. © Jonathan Kroupa 2011
