This lead the CDC to issue a statement saying that the man who attacked a homeless man in Miami was not a zombie. It was later decided that the man had been exposed to bath salts in some way, causing delirium, hallucinations, and madness. Personally I don't ever use bath salts, because I don't want to become a zombie. Zombie mania has hit the mainstream in full force in the last few years. The success of The Walking Dead is a indicator of that. Movies about Zombies have been around for a long time, but it is only recently they it came out of cult popularity. I'll bet there are people who would even want to be Zombies. These are people who fail to realize that Zombies are unthinking killing machines. Does this sudden interest in Zombies have anything to do with the looming end of the world? Did the Mayans know that the world would be covered by the hordes of the undead, feasting on the flesh of men? These are questions we are each going to have to ask ourselves.
