Gal: They used to use DDT, until they found out that the insects it killed were eaten by mice, and then the mice were eaten by birds. Gal: The birds eggs would get soft and split open. So they stopped using it. Tie: I'm willing to sacrifice the mice and birds to get rid of the bed bugs. © Jonathan Kroupa 2012
